Two new PhD Students join Leading House
We are happy to welcome our new PhD students Roman Theiler and Pierrette Lamezan at the Swiss Leading House VPET-ECON!
Roman joined the Team in October 2025. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lucerne. Roman previously completed an electrician apprenticeship before working in the electrical inspection industry.
Pierrette joined the Team in November 2025. She completed her Bachelor studies in Economics at the University of Zurich and her Master studies in European Global Studies at the University of Basel. Pierrette previously worked as a teaching assistant at a primary school and as student research assistant at CREMA and at University of Zurich.
We wish Roman and Pierrette a successful start and look forward to the upcoming research and collaborations as they start their path toward a PhD.
