Our chair was founded at the University of Zurich in 2009 with the aim of fostering (quantitative) empirical research and education with relevance to the practical world.
Our mission is to advance knowledge and educate our students in marketing, market research, statistics, consumer behavior, and consumer psychology.
We are committed to developing, disseminating, enhancing, and preserving knowledge. The dynamic interplay between the excitement of discovery, academic study, teaching, and learning is our passion and we seek to pass this onto our community.
The Chair of Marketing for Social Impact is also part of the Marketing Group Zurich, a collaboration of the Marketing Chairs of the UZH and the ETH. The MGZ aims to do research to develop, enhance, disseminate, and preserve knowledge in all relevant fields of marketing.
