Franziska Kaiser, Postdoc

Franziska Kaiser’s research focuses on the digital economy, AI, innovation, and intellectual property rights. She is particularly interested in how digital technologies reshape the creative industries. She will complete her PhD at HEC Lausanne in April 2025. In 2024, she was a visiting scholar at Boston University (Questrom School of Business & TPRI).

Franziska’s first PhD paper was published in Research Policy, and she has received several academic awards, including the INFORMS Information Systems Cluster Best Paper Award and the 4iP Council Research Award.

Before starting her PhD, she worked as an economic researcher at the UN World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Management Science from Humboldt University Berlin.
