Moritz completed both his B.Sc. in Psychology with Business Administration as a minor and his M.Sc. in Psychology at the University of Bern. During his master’s degree, he specialized in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, as well as Diagnostics and Differential Psychology. In his master’s thesis, he explored how people’s personalities and behaviors influence the effectiveness of online learning environments. After his studies, he worked as a psychometrist, helping to create and improve widely used personality and cognitive ability tests for personnel selection.
During this time, he was in contact with many HR professionals and learned about which abilities are the most important in today's world of work. This experience led to his interest in emotional intelligence; how it influences job performance, and how it may relate to other aspects of individuals, like cognitive abilities or personality.
