Our chair member, Robin Engelbach, has just arrived at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he will be spending the next year as a Recognised DPhil student in management. Funded by the UZH Doc.Mobility scholarship, Robin will engage in joint projects with Richard Whittington, in the field of Open Strategy.

The collaboration is already in full swing, with today marking the kick-off planning session for the 2nd Open Strategy Workshop, which will take place in Oxford from June 25-26, 2025.

Through his Associate Membership in the MCR at New College, Robin is also becoming an active part of Oxford’s vibrant postgraduate community, engaging with fellow scholars and contributing to the academic life at the university.

The last days he has been warmly welcomed by our former Chair member Violetta Splitter, as well as Oxford DPhil student Winky Wu.
