Bachelor and Master Theses

Application

Students interested in writing their Bachelor or Master thesis within the topic area of the assistant professorship can send an e-mail to patrick.lehnert@business.uzh.ch, including their current CV, transcript of records, and intended starting date.

Requirements

Bachelor theses: 

  • Successfull participation in the following courses: Lecture "Statistics", Lecture "Introductory Econometrics", Lecture "Introduction to Scientific Working", Lecture "Business Administration III", and at least one seminar with an empirical focus related to the assistant professorship's topic area. 
  • Bachelor theses typically include econometric analyses in Stata (preferred) or Python.

Master theses: 

  • Successful participation in the following courses: Lecture "ME1: Personnel Economics", Lecture "Empirical Methods" or "Applied Empirical Methods for Business Administration", and at least one seminar with an empirical focus related to the assistant professorship's topic area. 
  • Master theses include econometric analyses in Stata (preferred) or Python.
