General description
This seminar focuses on current scientific publications that utilize sports data in management and economics research.
Learning Outcome
Students become proficient in preparing and presenting selected scientific publications. They gain experience in writing referee reports and develop the ability to critically evaluate current research articles utilizing sports data.
Organization
The seminar is organized as a "block seminar" with one kick-off meeting and two full seminar days. Attendance is compulsory for the kick-off meeting and the seminar days.
The kick-off meeting will cover more detailed information on the seminar as well as the assignments of the articles for the presentation and the two written referee reports.
Assessment
Presentation of a scientific publication (40%), two written referee reports (40%) and active participation (20%) during the seminar. On-site attendance is compulsory.
