Professor Lauren Howe researches the psychological factors influencing behavior and perception around the climate crisis. In collaboration with the International Climate Psychology Collaboration, she co-led a comprehensive study collecting data from 63 countries on global perceptions and psychological responses to climate change. The research highlights the diverse ways people worldwide react to the climate crisis and the psychological mechanisms that drive behavior change. These insights are crucial for promoting sustainable climate actions globally and supporting long-term behavioral shifts.
