Short Biography 

Zhizhong (Peter) Chen completed his Bachelor’s studies in Economics at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China, in 2018. He also holds a Master's Degree in Economics from CEMFI (Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros), Spain, which he obtained in 2020. During his studies, he also spent one semester in University of Maryland as an exchange student. Prior to joining our team in September 2022, Peter worked as an analyst in an investment consulting firm.

His main research interests lie in applied microeconomics and empirical IO, with a focus on technological transformation and the digital economy. He is also a melomaniac.
