Daniel Kostyra has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Zurich since 2016. He studied Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Industrial & Organizational Psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt, where he also completed his doctorat and has rejoined as a guest lecturer in 2015. His research focuses on the impact of online product reviews, brand alliances and sequence effects on customer preferences.
As of 2019, he has been working at GMK Markenberatung in Cologne, where he focuses on brand positioning and architecture for his clients. Previously, he was Director Consulting at the digital agency Cocomore and its former subsidiary Kairion.

Danielle commenced her professional journey as a sales agent within the tourism sector. Over the course of her career in this industry, she ascended through several senior positions in sales and product management, becoming accustomed to navigating dynamic and rapidly evolving environments. As a true food enthusiast, she decided to turn her hobby into a profession and transitioned into the food industry. Since 2021, Danielle serves as the Head of Retail Sales Switzerland for Planted, a Swiss Foodtech Startup specializing in plant-based meats using only natural ingredients. In this capacity, she leads swiss retail operations, providing oversight for strategic planning, business development, and customer engagement. Her role is pivotal in reshaping the landscape of the food industry, as she strives to position Planted's plant-based meats at the forefront of the market.

Lukas holds a Diploma in International Management from the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg. He started his career in sales as a Consultant and has been working with large and fast growing customers in various industries like Retail, Travel and Insurance, for the last 10 years. During his 7,5 years at Goolge he focused on Online Marketing and the strategic development of online based e-commerce businesses. In his current role at Stripe, he helps clients to setup state of the art financial infrastructures to help e-businesses control national and international online payment flows.

Anika Bötel holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Magdeburg. She started her career as a product manager in the automotive industry. While managing a product for Asian markets she faced changing market demands and managed conflicts between innovation, customer needs and financial targets.
Since 2016, Anika Bötel has been working for Volkswagen Group to design an R&D Strategy for passenger car brands and developed a collaboration program for managers within Volkswagen Group R&D.

Dr. Sebastian Schäfer is an entrepreneur and experienced ecosystem builder. As co-founder and Managing Director of TechQuartier and as the former head of the business incubator at Goethe University, he has spent the last 10+ years in fostering entrepreneurship and building up the startup scene in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region. He is also involved as an advisor, business angel and co-partner of Pitch Club GmbH. Sebastian’s academic background includes degrees in economics and Japanese studies from the University of Tuebingen and a doctoral degree in behavioral economics from the University of Frankfurt. He is associated with the Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations and The Frankfurt Laboratory of Experimental Economics at Goethe University. Plus, Dr. Schäfer continues to lecture at Goethe Business School, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and on event stages around the globe.

Rob Britton has spent his entire working life, 50 years, in the airline and travel industries. Rob earned a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Minnesota, and a postdoctoral certificate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He spent 22 years with American Airlines in a variety of leadership roles all across the company.
Originally a geography professor, Rob Britton is now an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, and an annual guest lecturer at more than 25 business schools worldwide, including Yale, Imperial College London, and of course UZH. He has published more than 125 articles in prominent newspapers and magazines, travel-industry publications, and refereed academic journals.

Logi Karlsson, Executive Director at Islandsbanki, one of Iceland´s largest banks, is a marketing specialist who previously worked as marketing manager in the tourism industry and as an independent marketing consultant. Logi holds a PhD degree in marketing and a Master's degree in business administration from University of Wollongong as well as a Bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Iceland.
After completing the PhD, Logi worked as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Queensland Business School.
Jerry Fohringer holds a master of science in electrical engineering and a master of advanced studies in management, both degrees from ETH Zurich. Fohringer started his career as a software developer, then moved into various senior marketing positions in the telecom industry.
In 2010, he changed into the retail sector and was responsible for all CRM programs, personalized marketing as well as the tactical marketing at Migros.
Today, he is Managing Director B2B and a member of the Executive Board at Cembra Money Bank, one of the leading Swiss providers of financial products and services.
