Sverrir Arnorsson, Assistant

Sverrir Arnórsson completed his Bachelor's studies in Industrial Engineering at the University of Iceland in 2021. In 2024, he received a Master's Degree in Science, Technology, and Policy from ETH Zürich. His master's thesis, supervised by Prof. Stefan Bechtold and Prof. Christian Peukert, focused on copyright enforcement on YouTube. During his master's studies, Sverrir also worked as a research assistant to Prof. Bechtold, contributing to research on EU platform policies.

His research interests lie in empirical investigations of the digital economy, with a particular focus on platform policy. Sverrir‘s current research focus is on the complexities of music copyright in the digital age.
