The Books of Chow
Mingmin is a research associate and doctoral student at the Chair of Marketing for Social Impact. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from China and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Zurich. Upon finishing her Master’s Thesis on consumer behavior and conjoint analysis at our chair, she decided to start her Ph.D.
Mingmin worked as an algorithm engineer in tech companies (health; taxation). She is fascinated by the combination of methods and insights from different disciplines such as network sciences, economics, and machine learning. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling with her friends in her free time.
Research focus: Social Networks, Consumer Behavior, Econometrics.
Methodological focus: Causal Inference, Machine Learning, Conjoint Analysis.
