Background:

Katharina graduated from the University of Basel in 2012 with a M.Sc. in Business and Economics and major in Labor Economics, Human Resources and Organization. During the Master she spent one semester at the University of Zurich. She received her B.Sc. in Business Administration and her B.A. in Economics from the University of Siegen in 2010. During her undergraduate studies, she spent one term at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). Before joining the chair of Prof. Backes-Gellner in September 2014, she worked for an international organization in Italy and for the Swiss Federation.
