Background:
Simone Tuor graduated from the University of Zurich in 2006 where she majored in Economics. During her studies she specialized in Personnel Economics, Labor Economics and Econometrics. In 2007 she was visiting scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She obtained her PhD from the University of Zurich in April 2009. (Thesis Title: Beyond Traditional Cost-Benefit Analyses of Vocational Education and Training - Workers’ and Firms’ Perspectives.)
